In 2003, Bill and Susan purchased a farm just outside of Winnsboro to get away from the city life after working in corporate America in Dallas. They got involved with the Winnsboro Farmers Market as vendors selling the honey they extracted from their bee hives at Zimmer’s Honey Farm.
Mayra and Matt both had careers in Dallas and would visit on the weekends with their girls, Yulisa and Julianna. During the Covid pandemic, they began spending more time in Winnsboro and quickly fell in love with the community.
When the Andrews building on 210 N Main Street came up for sale, Bill and Susan playfully approached Matt and Mayra with the idea of partnering to acquire and restore it. After careful consideration, they embarked on a transformative journey to renovate the property and create Z's Main Street Treats and Eats, a full-service restaurant, bar, and ice cream.

The Ice Cream Parlor will offer 16-20 Bluebell Ice Cream flavors. Light, No Sugar Added selections, and sherbet. Many specialty shakes, sundaes, and ice cream treats.

Our fun and casual dining restaurant will offer high quality food menu items for lunch and dinner. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Soups, Wings, Special Entrees and Desserts.

The Z’s Specialty Bar will offer a wide selection of wine, beer, and spirits. We will strive to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere with access to our excellent food menu while enjoying creative Ice Cream cocktails. Join us for happy hour Wednesday-Friday 4pm-7pm. $3 Domestic Bottles, $4 Shots, $5 Wine
